We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Raffen Hotel's Pty Ltd in Bathurst, NSW. As Shift Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel during your assigned shifts. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. What you’ll be doing Overseeing the daily operations of the hotel during your shift, including managing staff, handling guest enquiries and ensuring all areas of the hotel are running smoothly Coordinating and supervising the work of front desk, housekeeping and food and beverage staff to maintain high standards of customer service Monitoring inventory, ordering supplies and managing budgets to optimise hotel performance Resolving guest issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner Adhering to all relevant health, safety and security protocols Providing training and mentoring to junior staff to support their professional development Assisting with special events, functions and other ad-hoc duties as required What we’re looking for Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to juggle multiple priorities Proficient in using hotel management software and technology Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays What we offer At Raffen Hotel's Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
