Residential Site Manager

Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure timely, safe, and quality delivery of the North Beach project Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site workers Management of site-based team including second supervisor, safety support manager, labourers, cleaners etc. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant construction site Ensure high standards of workmanship and adherence to plans and specifications including any pre-sale specific requirements Coordination of material deliveries, logistics, and inventory control Problem-solving of on-site issues and escalation where required Liaise with the Project Manager to align on progress, schedule, and any site-related issues Assist Project Manager with subcontractor claim reviews over the duration of the project Safety Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and site safety protocols Management of site-specific inductions on site utilizing MDG’s safety platform Sitebooks Conduct site inductions, toolbox meetings, and regular site inspections for safety compliance Manage site documentation including SWMS, and safety checklists Management of on-site incidents and near misses, including timely reporting and coordination with relevant subcontractors Program Monitor and maintain the master construction program, identifying and mitigating any delays that may become apparent on site Develop and manage short term program with the subcontractor group Quality Development and implementation of quality management systems and processes, such as Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) Regular site inspections and audits to check and verify compliance with plans, specs, and codes. Coordination and management of testing and commissioning process of all services Defect management including final inspections and preparation of defect lists to identify and resolve outstanding quality issues prior to project handover Employment Specifics Contract basis for Stages 1 and 2 House Construction Contract Duration Commencement - 1st March 2026 at the commencement of Stage 1 construction Completion – Anticipated May 2027 at the completion of Stage 2 construction MDG to supply housing accommodation for the duration of the contract Working Hours – Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm Hourly rate deemed as inclusive of all allowances Insurances to be by contractor MDG to supply phone and laptop accessories MDG will require 5 months notice in the event of contract termination #J-18808-Ljbffr
