Troocoo Rural View, Queensland, Australia Personal Care Worker Location: Cardwell / Ingham QLD Work Type: Permanent Full‑Time Salary: $30 – $33 per hour base rate depending on experience About The Role As a Personal Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to residents, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing in their daily lives. You’ll work under the guidance of Registered Nurses and be a vital part of a close‑knit care team. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, grooming, mobility, and meals Provide emotional support and companionship Help residents maintain their independence and quality of life Support residents to participate in activities and community engagement Monitor and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional health to clinical staff Teamwork & Safety Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health and other staff to deliver person‑centred care Maintain accurate documentation using electronic systems Adhere to infection control, health and safety policies Contribute to a positive, respectful and inclusive team culture What’s On Offer 5 weeks annual leave for permanent employees Salary packaging benefits (rent, mortgage, fuel and utilities options) Supportive and inclusive team environment Flexible rosters in a lifestyle‑friendly regional location About You You’re a caring, reliable and empathetic individual with a genuine passion for supporting older people. Key Selection Criteria Essential Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Certificate IV Ageing Support Current CPR Certificate Current driver’s licence Experience working in residential aged care or similar environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow care plans and document accurately Full Australian working rights Desirable Experience with electronic care systems Knowledge of aged care standards and best practices Compliance Requirements National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) National Personal Insolvency Check Sponsorship is not on offer at this time Why Join Our Client?
