Front-End Development Intern (WordPress / Shopify / Vue 3 / React) About the Role We’re looking for a front-end developer with strong experience in WordPress and Shopify to join our team and help build and maintain production-grade websites and eCommerce stores. You will work with WordPress (custom themes, page builders, WooCommerce) and Shopify (Liquid, theme customisation), covering the full workflow: front-end implementation, theme and template development, CMS configuration, styling systems, interactive features, performance optimisation, and cross-platform responsive front-end development. Key Responsibilities Build, maintain, and optimize front-end interfaces for WordPress and Shopify websites Develop reusable UI components, theme sections, and templates for WordPress (PHP) and Shopify (Liquid) Implement and refine forms, product or content views, animations, and micro-interactions Collaborate with back‑end or CMS teams on API integrations, WooCommerce/Shopify data, and content workflows Improve performance, accessibility, SEO, and overall UX/UI Contribute to a clean, consistent, and maintainable front‑end codebase using modern engineering practices Required Skills & Experience 3–5 years of front‑end development experience focusing on WordPress or Shopify Hands‑on experience delivering production websites using WordPress (themes, plugins, ACF, WooCommerce) or Shopify (Liquid, Online Store 2.0) Confident working with Sass, Tailwind, or PostCSS for styling Practical experience with build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Vite Comfortable with everyday engineering tools and workflows: Git (branching, pull requests), ESLint/Prettier, npm or yarn Experience delivering responsive and mobile‑friendly websites across devices Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) with strong verbal and written communication skills Responsible, detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work well in a team Must provide 3–5 portfolio examples (WordPress websites, Shopify stores, landing pages, or custom themes) What You’ll Get Hands‑on experience on real client projects Mentorship and training opportunities Collaborative and engaging on‑site work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
