Our perks and benefits Flexible working Work a 9-day fortnight at Full Pay on the Enterprise Agreement Up to 16 weeks paid parental leave Fertility leave Corporate wear allowance Professional development and educational assistance Salary starting from $112,408.00 (12% super) And so much more What you'll do Technical Input: Provide technical input relating to hydrologic/hydraulic components and water quality interactions of multi-disciplinary projects in a team environment to assist in meeting regulatory and business requirements. Project Management: Provide project management support to deliver key projects for the business and ensure that best practice project management is applied throughout the life of the project. Model Development: Undertake the development, maintenance and application of a strategic suite of water models for water quality and quantity, including catchment, stream, flood risk, system yields, network capacity, and both actual and theoretical water supply system planning and operational models. Technical Advice: Provide technical advice and undertake a broad range of water resource management activities for internal and external customers, including planning water delivery, flood and emergency operations, and capital projects to ensure hydrologic factors and water quality are well understood and managed with acceptable risk. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across teams and support the development of policies and processes to facilitate the delivery of hydrology services to clients, internal and external stakeholders. What we are looking for Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Hydrology (or Natural Resources/Environmental Science with a tertiary qualification in hydrology or relevant experience). Demonstrated experience in hydrologic/hydraulic data analysis, modelling and reporting. Familiarity with ArcGIS, QGIS, and hydraulic/flood modelling software (e.g. HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, RORB, GoldSim, MIKE) and/or 3D hydrodynamics and water quality model. Familiarity with the Australian Rainfall Runoff (ARR) guidelines and understanding of water quality and quantity issues confronting government organisations. Current NSW Driver's Licence.
