Catwest is seeking experienced Asphalt Crew Members to join our team in Geraldton, Western Australia (must be based out of Geraldton , no FIFO position). As an Asphalt Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of roads, profiling , spray sealing , reinstating asphalt and other asphalt-based tasks . This is a full-time position offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work with a long standing company, leading the way in the Asphalt Industry. What you'll be doing Assisting with the preparation and laying of asphalt surfaces Operating multiple machines, truck driving and assisting in various tasks, such as shovelling, raking, spreading, sealing, laying asphalt and compacting asphalt Ensuring the safe and efficient completion of all assigned tasks Maintaining a clean and organised work environment Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures Providing support to more experienced team members as required What we’re looking for Reliable, hard working individual with a good work ethic Experience working as an Asphalt Labourer/Operator is preferred but not essential Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work A valid driver's licence and tickets A strong focus on safety and a willingness to participate in ongoing training What we offer Competitive remuneration package Opportunities for career development and progression Comprehensive training and development programs Hourly rates (Depending on Experience) $39.50 - $45.00 About us Since 1992 CATWEST has been delivering road and traffic services to Western Australia’s mid-west regions.
