Save more, track spending, and achieve home ownership faster with Ubank. You will be a Risk Enablement Manager with experience supporting Technology and Data divisions/businesses . This role is critical in driving risk and controls awareness and understanding, event management, and change to create a center of excellence for controls including the uplift of Ubank’s risk environment. You will provide a common point of expertise and first line controls, compliance and risk assurance support to management for the Technology and Data businesses. Key Responsibilities Partner with Technology and Data functions within Ubank to identify, communicate, measure, assess and oversee technology and data risks. Be a key contributor to technology risk councils and report into key technology forums. Support the Technology team with risk profiling, risk appetite statements and metrics, driving risk culture in the first line, implementing forward‑looking risk metrics and reporting. Support the design, implementation, and assessment of controls across the Technology and Data function to mitigate technology risk exposures and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Provide support on risk processes and registers, maintaining a high level of accuracy and currency of content. Monitor the status of risk treatment actions related to risks and findings. Provide specialist Risk and Compliance Policy and Framework advice and guidance to the business. Support key risk initiatives within the business and engage senior stakeholders to ensure outcomes are delivered. Your Experience 5+ years’ experience in Technology and Data risk management. Knowledge of risk management and compliance disciplines. Experience/understanding of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, ASD E-8). Good understanding of the risk categories: operational risk, IT risk, Cyber risk, third‑party risk, business risk. Practical approach to solving issues with strong commercial acumen. Exceptional time management and ability to multi‑task and adapt to changing priorities. Relevant tertiary qualifications advantageous. Why Ubank?
