Business Analyst (Working Capital Finance) We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (Working Capital Finance) to join a rapidly growing commercial SME lending business in a central and highly impactful role. The successful candidate will analyse and assess SME clients to determine lending suitability, contribute to product and process development (including AI‑enhanced workflows), and support both new prospect assessments and existing client reviews. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with operations and sales teams, prepare lending proposals, engage directly with clients, and be involved in future career progression opportunities within Sales or Operations. Contract Summary Salary: Competitive salary + super Contract Type: Permanent Work Model: Hybrid Location: Sydney CBD Responsibilities Analyse SME financials and assess borrower suitability for working capital lending Work closely with the Credit Team to interpret numbers, apply AI tools, and assess business performance Review both new lending prospects and existing clients Contribute to product development and process improvements with a strong AI‑driven focus Prepare lending proposals, credit assessments, and client review documentation Collaborate with operations and sales teams to support end‑to‑end lending lifecycle Engage directly with clients in a customer‑facing capacity Participate in local or interstate travel when required Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in an SME lending environment Strong financial analysis capability and ability to interpret SME operational performance Comfortable using AI‑based tools and data‑driven assessment methodologies Understanding of small business operations, working capital requirements, and lending fundamentals Strong communication skills and ability to engage directly with clients Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage competing priorities Ability to work collaboratively across Credit, Operations, and Sales teams Ambitious, proactive, and interested in long‑term development within Sales or Operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
