As the Pharmacist in charge at Mediplus Pharmacy, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled pharmacy assistants in delivering exceptional patient care and driving the growth and success of the pharmacy. This is a full‑time position based in Thuringowa Central, QLD. What you'll be doing Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflows and high‑quality service delivery Lead and manage a team of pharmacy assistants, providing guidance, training and performance feedback Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that promotes customer satisfaction and employee engagement Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, expand the pharmacy's services and increase profitability Ensure the pharmacy's compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, such as general practitioners and specialists Actively participate in the pharmacy's marketing and community engagement initiatives Achieve 8CPA incentives What we're looking for A registered pharmacist with AHPRA Able to successfully manage pharmacy operations, including staff supervision, financial management and operational efficiency Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Commitment to delivering exceptional patient‑centered care and promoting the pharmacy's role in the local community What we offer At Mediplus Pharmacy, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
