What You’ll Be Doing As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the user‑facing future of our platform. Responsibilities Build and maintain a next‑generation web application with a strong focus on user experience. Take full ownership of Valiant’s end‑to‑end testing frameworks to ensure quality and reliability. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high‑quality features. Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards. Integrate with backend systems via API endpoints. Mentor and collaborate with teammates on best practices. Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development, particularly with VueJS. React / Angular experience is also acceptable. Proven experience with CI / CD pipelines. Solid experience with various testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and E2E testing (e.g., Mocha, Jest, Cypress). Experience with build tools like Webpack or Vite. Experience using agile development tools such as Jira or Linear. A portfolio that demonstrates a passion for creating engaging and high‑quality user experiences. Familiarity with design systems and component libraries. Bonus Points Experience with security best practices (e.g., OWASP, STRIDE).< /li> Interest in automating repetitive tasks using AI tools and techniques. Performance optimisation experience, including Core Web Vitals, code‑splitting, or SSR. Knowledge of the financial services industry (lending or corporate finance). Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and building inclusive web applications. Experience navigating GDPR and / or SOC2.
