Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Receivable Process supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding and approvals Prepare weekly payment runs and reconcile supplier statements Manage and reconcile customer accounts Enter AR invoices into Xero from inventory software and reconcile Bank & General Ledger Reconciliation Assist in month-end and year-end closing tasks Assist in month-end balance sheet reconciliations Post journals and maintain accurate general ledger records Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management accounts Support the Financial Controller with reporting requirements for stakeholders and auditors Other ad tasks as required Compliance & Record-Keeping Ensure compliance with ATO obligations, including GST and PAYG Assist with BAS preparation and lodgement Maintain proper filing of financial documents and digital records Process Improvement & Support Identify areas for greater efficiency or automation within finance operations Support the implementation of improved accounting practices and systems Provide ad-hoc support to the Financial Controller and wider team as required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing) 2+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance support role Proficient in Xero, Microsoft Office & Google Sheets Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent time management and ability to work to deadlines Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and ATO regulations preferred A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to work This role offers a unique opportunity to grow with a thriving business, gain hands-on experience in a dynamic e-commerce environment, and contribute to a team that values innovation and excellence.
