Job Description - Qualified Aviation Tanker Driver ) Overview As a key player in the Defence industry, UGL plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide. From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team's expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably. We are seeking qualified Tanker Drivers to join our Operations & Maintenance team at RAAF Amberley, providing a unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment and support the national security requirements of the Nation. Role and Responsibilities Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base Work closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel Deliver the fuel to the designated fuel point (e.g., refuelling point, aircraft on the runway) Operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft Communicate with internal and external team to ensure good customer experience What You Need MC / HC Drivers Licence (Preferred – HR Required) Dangerous Goods Handling Licence Proven experience operating heavy vehicles (essential) Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team Current holder or ability to obtain relevant security clearances We Offer Competitive hourly rates with market leading company benefits Long-term opportunity with locational stability; work close to home for as long as you want Work with a great crew of people from UGL and the Defence Love coming to work everyday and be a part of something bigger Job Reference: | Discipline: Driver | Primary Location: Australia-QLD-Brisbane - Western Suburbs & Ipswich | Work Type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
