About The Opportunity As a Supervisor in the Civil Construction team you will play a key role in planning coordinating and directing diverse construction projects and maintenance activities. As part of this role you will ensure that all Civil activities undertaken are to a high quality meet Council policies and procedures and are in line with work health and safety procedures and standards. You will be responsible for: Interpreting design plans and specifications assisting in job planning and consulting. Forecasting and coordinating resource requirements estimating costs and quantities for project work. Ensuring appropriate signage is in place at construction sites. Ensuring the operation and maintenance of equipment plant and machinery is line with Councils requirements. Providing sound technical advice on civil works issues. Providing leadership and direction to effectively manage your team. About You Demonstrated experience in roads and drainage construction and maintenance. Demonstrated experience supervising advanced or diverse civil construction or maintenance projects. Demonstrated experience leading a team Appropriate licences and certificates in relation to civil plant and equipment.
