YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE Position : Senior Data Analyst – Business Intelligence & Analytics Ongoing, full time position (80 hours per fortnight with monthly ADOs) CBD location, with flexible, hybrid working Base salary + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave About the team The Business Intelligence and Analytics team operates the hospital's Azure-based data warehouse and analytics platform, which provides management reporting and performance insights across the organization. The team supports strategic decision-making and operational performance management for hospital leadership and department managers. About the role The Senior Data Analyst works directly with hospital departments to understand their information needs, analyse performance data, and deliver insights that support better decision‑making. You’ll be the bridge between our business stakeholders and the BI development team – translating clinical and operational questions into analytical requirements, designing Power BI reports, and providing ad‑hoc analysis to support hospital operations. Key Responsibilities Stakeholder engagement and requirements Analysis and reporting Data products and submissions Training and support About you The successful applicant will be someone who can work independently with diverse stakeholders (clinicians, executives, managers) who don't speak data. Healthcare sector experience, particularly within Victorian public hospitals and funding models, will be an advantage.
