Personal Care Worker (Residential) We are looking for compassionate and experienced Personal Care Workers to join our dedicated team at the Mayfield East Facility. This role involves providing daily personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, and delivering the holistic care that Fronditha Care is known for. About Fronditha Care Fronditha Care is an award‑winning, not‑for‑profit aged care provider that has been delivering culturally sensitive and compassionate care for over 46 years. We support seniors and their families across our residential facilities in Melbourne and Newcastle. Responsibilities Providing personal care to our elderly residents Assisting with activities of daily living and mobility Supporting eating and drinking activities Keeping accurate, up‑to‑date care records Observing residents’ conditions and reporting any concerns Encouraging residents to make their own decisions Respite care – companionship and conversation Requirements A Certificate III in Aged Care (minimum qualification) or equivalent Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar field Fully vaccinated as required by federal and state regulations Previous experience providing personal care services in an aged‑care facility A team‑oriented attitude with empathy and problem‑solving skills Commitment to delivering high‑quality care to our residents Success Criteria Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate personal care Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a care team Reliability and punctuality in meeting shift schedules Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic care environment Benefits Supportive and dynamic team culture Salary packaging available up to $15,900 and $2,650 for meals and entertainment Health and well‑being program with access to an Employee Assistance Program Comprehensive orientation, hands‑on supervision, and a buddy program Opportunities for ongoing professional development We will require a current Police Check as part of the hiring process.
