OUT OF SCHOOL HOURS CARE - DIRECTOR LEVEL 6 Flagstaff Hill Primary School is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic OSHC Director to lead daily operations, ensuring quality care, safety, and engaging programs for our students. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, dedicated to the wellbeing of children, and committed to fostering positive relationships within our team and community. This full‑time contract position is for 38 hours per week and will require the Director to work before school care 7:00‑9:00 am and after school care 3:00‑6:30 pm. Contract to commence 8/12/25 (negotiable) until 26/6/25, after which there is potential for the position to be ongoing. Desirable knowledge and experience: Sound leadership, operational and financial management skills Ability to relate well with children, families and staff Knowledge of the NQF and MTOP Knowledge of the CCMS and Children Services Award Required Qualifications: Diploma or Degree level qualification as approved by ACECQA First Aid qualifications as approved by ACECQA Responding to Abuse and Neglect training Criminal History Screening Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Ability to interact positively, sensitively, and respectfully with children and facilitate inclusion. Experience planning, developing, and evaluating programs using recognised frameworks (e.g., MTOP). Strong skills in positive behaviour guidance and supporting individual needs. Effective leadership, operational, and human resource management abilities. Demonstrated administrative, business, marketing, and financial management skills. Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills. Sound computer literacy, including use of childcare administration software. Understanding of work, health and safety legislation and related employer/employee responsibilities. Knowledge of legal compliance requirements, child protection responsibilities, and equal opportunity principles. Ability to provide sensitive, professional support to families and cope in emergency or stressful situations.
