We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Sea Import Freight Forwarding Officer to ensure the Import Sea Freight Forwarding Operations are carried out efficiently and profitably for the centralised freight forwarding team, as well as assist the other departments to effectively meet our client's needs in line with Company objectives, and in accordance with the company policy, mission, vision and values. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of Freight Forwarding processes, be open to learning and have a high level accuracy with data entry, reporting and spreadsheet creation. The Roles Will Be Responsible But Not Limited To Monitoring and ensuring Data integrity on all shipments LCL & FCL Delivery Orders & Original BL Required Check and release Ensure Delivery Orders are received 48hrs prior to ETA Chase Shipping Lines for Delivery Orders Send / monitor Pre-alert's/ Arrival notice for External brokers Release Delivery Orders for External Brokers Monitor & send emails for Original Bills Required (OBR) Shipments Pay via COMPAY & Company EFT Complete external broker billings (3 days ahead of ETA) Ensure all shipments are invoiced within company KPIs Cost & Accruals processing (2 days ahead of ETA) Process creditor invoices Chase invoices from shipping lines Chase invoices form origin offices Handle any invoicing disputes Change/ completing task from "ASN" to "CLS" for all shipments - Payment made / OK to release, Document to Broker, Delivery Order received (check daily) Daily milestone updating (IRIS) WIP / ACR file management Monitor and update routing schedules & ETAs Monitor and update Transhipment Shipment filter (check daily) Ensure all Sea Cargo is completed on time (3 days ahead of ETA) Update GRP Spreadsheet (within 2 days of departure) as well as organise GRP wharf collections/deliveries into unpack depot Monitor GRP arrival/availability (check daily) Notify transport and GEODIS SYD Warehouse of incoming GRP containers Monitor and update AOS (Arrow) website for availability/wharf collection etc Monitor GRP Clearances and follow up with all BUs to pre-book final mile (EDD) and pre-clearance Monitor all GRP UB Lodged/ SCA status' Outturning Cargo - House BL & container level. Lodging Underbond on container & House BL level.
