Sigma Search has been exclusively retained by one of Australia’s largest healthcare companies to find an experienced Demand Planner to join their Supply Chain team in Sydney. This is a high-impact role working with the very latest GAINS demand planning platform. You will play a pivotal role in driving forecast accuracy, optimising stock levels and protecting working capital across a multi-site national operation. Key Responsibilities Generate, maintain and continuously improve demand forecasts in GAINS Analyse historical sales data, market trends and promotional activity to refine forecast models Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Warehouse and Product teams to align on upcoming demand Conduct monthly forecast review and maintenance cycles Identify risks to supply/demand balance and propose mitigation strategies Monitor key metrics (forecast accuracy, stock availability, excess/obsolete stock) and report to senior leadership Support ongoing development and optimisation of the GAINS platform – including process design and staff training Proactively recommend and implement initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and inventory efficiency About You Proven experience as a Demand Planner, Forecast Analyst or Supply Planner (ideally within pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG or consumer goods) Hands‑on experience with GAINS or another sophisticated demand planning tool (SAP IBP, Logility, o9, Kinaxis, etc.) is highly regarded Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical/analytical capability Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across Sales, Marketing and Operations teams Excellent communication skills – you can translate complex data into clear insights for non‑technical stakeholders A continuous‑improvement mindset with a track record of enhancing forecast accuracy and reducing excess stock Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available) Why Join?
