About the Team
The Fraud Fusion Taskforce has been established to improve payment integrity in the NDIS and other government programs and payments by preventing or reducing fraud and criminal activity (including serious organised crime and systemic fraud). The Taskforce enables intelligence sharing, identification and response by the NDIA and its partner agencies, including law enforcement and regulators.The Fraud Fusion Taskforce Intelligence Analytics Branch leads the gathering and analysis of integrity information for the purpose of providing intelligence to Agency management and recommending solutions to reduce the risk of fraud and serious non-compliance to the NDIS. This includes strategic, operational and tactical intelligence, maintaining the fraud risk library, detection analytics, and fraud tip-offs.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
* Supporting the response function of the team including, addressing requests for information, responding to senior management and ministerial requests and assessing incoming matters determining the required treatment.* Coordinating intelligence projects, producing a range of high quality strategic, tactical and operational intelligence products informing and impacting decision-making for internal and external stakeholders, targeting organised fraud in Government programs.* Providing accurate and specialised advice, ensuring knowledge of and compliance with relevant legislation and policy frameworks.* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, sharing information and intelligence, producing briefing papers including link charts and reports.* Assist with coordinating and analysing data and written information for the purposes of drafting branch level communications and high level internal and external communications including reports, advice, presentations and communications for Ministerial, Parliamentary and executive responses.
EL1 duties
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:* Utilising a Diploma of Government (Investigation), or its equivalent, as set out in Public Services Training Package (PSP04) to lead and coordinate the planning and production of strategic intelligence outputs and outcomes.* Supporting the response function of the team including, addressing requests for information, responding to senior management and ministerial requests and assessing incoming matters determining the required treatment.* Leading and coordinating intelligence projects, producing a range of high quality strategic, tactical and operational intelligence products informing and impacting decision-making for internal and external stakeholders, targeting organised fraud in Government programs.* Liaising with other Agencies, sharing information and intelligence, producing briefing papers including link charts and reports.* Producing reference and training material to support the Agency in relation to intelligence support and management.* Coordinating recruitment with the Director, providing managerial oversight relating to mandatory learning and the health and safety of the team.* Leading a team of Intelligence Coordination Officers that provide specialist advice to fraud investigation teams and partner agencies.
