Position The opportunity: As a Legal Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our Internal Legal Counsel, Claims Team, and Members. You’ll proactively manage a range of legal administrative tasks, including scheduling medicolegal examination and earning capacity assessment appointments, preparing letters to claimants and solicitors, and collating evidence briefs for examiners and investigators. You will support the legal team by scheduling meetings, following up service providers for reports, updates and evidence to meet critical timeframes, and maintain accurate records and databases. With a strong service mindset, you'll deliver responsive and professional support to both internal stakeholders, external service providers and our Members. Requirements Please note that this position is full-time, requiring availability Monday - Friday. Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal, with well-developed planning and organisational skills that allow you to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. Your strong attention to detail, proactive approach, and ability to show initiative will be key to succeeding in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
