Collections Officer

We are seeking a results-driven Collections Officer to manage a high-value $10M+ debtor ledger. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. Key Responsibilities Ledger Management: Take full ownership of a $10M+ portfolio, focusing on reducing DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and managing aged debt. Data Integrity: Conduct thorough reconciliations and data cleansing to ensure accurate migration of debtor balances and payment histories. Strategic Collections: Negotiate payment plans with high-value commercial clients while maintaining professional relationships. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate dunning cycles and reporting within the new system. Your Profile Experience: 3–5+ years in commercial collections, ideally managing large-scale ledgers ($5M+). Tech-Savviness: Experience with MYOB Exo is highly regarded, advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables). Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to handle difficult conversations and secure payments from major accounts.
