Key Responsibilities Safety First : Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Drive the development of the global technology roadmap and manage product lifecycles. Assume technical ownership of complex design engineering projects and challenging problems. Develop and implement advanced design methodologies, procedures, and tools to improve efficiency. Lead creation and execution of product testing strategies, tools, and processes. Manage troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve technical issues effectively. Conduct product risk assessments and DFMEA, implementing actions to mitigate risks. Prepare patents and technical papers for conferences and technical publications. Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical growth and providing expert support. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, representing the Technology Group in key engagements. Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Engineer At least 10 - 15 years’ working experience in similar role in mineral processing equipment and systems. Have a proven ability to carry out engineering and develop related deliverables such as technical specifications, test plans, requests for quote, technical reports, etc. Advanced knowledge in FEA and ANSYS software Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or other 3D modelling software Advanced knowledge in high-cycle fatigue, specifically in welded steel structures.
