Graduate Field Service Chemist

Overview An industry leader within the Water Treatment / Process Water sector is currently seeking a professional and driven Graduate Field Service Chemist to cover contracts across the South Midlands and Home Counties region. The role would suit a recent chemistry graduate or someone newly starting out within the water treatment industry who is keen to carve out a career within a forward thinking national outlet. Successful candidates will be responsible for undertaking the analysis of water samples across industrial process water systems. The company can other work across a varied site base, structured training and career development plans, alongside competitive salaries and package. The client is open to receiving applications from across the South Midlands / Home Counties region, including but not limited to: Towcester, Brackley, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Stevenage, Hitchin, Cambridge, Harlow, Biggleswade. Experience & Qualifications Applicants must be educated to degree level, ideally holding a Chemistry or Science based qualification. Experience working as a service chemist within the water treatment industry is desirable. Confident working in a client facing role, advising the company’s diverse client base on technical findings. Ideally understand industrial Water Treatment systems and associated chemicals. The Role Carrying out sampling and analysis of Closed Systems, and ensuring systems are being dosed with appropriate chemicals. Visiting a range of Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare and Leisure sites on a weekly / monthly basis and sampling and analysing Cooling towers and Steam Boilers. Using onsite test kits to interpret results. Providing clients with detailed service reports and providing technical advice when required and updating on site logbooks. Liaising with clients, upselling on services and equipment. Ensuring to continue to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients. #J-18808-Ljbffr
