Operations Manager (NDIS) – 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract This role is for an experienced NDIS professional with the capability and confidence to lead real operational change.We’re seeking someone proven in NDIS leadership — structured, reliable, and outcome-focused.Only applicants with strong NDIS management or operational experience will be considered. About the role Carestays is a growing NDIS provider delivering high-quality short-term (STA) and supported independent living (SIL) services.We’re entering a period of focused growth and are seeking a strategic yet hands‑on Operations Manager to re‑establish structure, strengthen systems, and drive a professional, values‑based culture across our Thornbury and Mentone sites. This six‑month contract is designed for a capable leader who enjoys stabilising operations, guiding teams, and embedding long‑term standards — someone who brings calm authority and operational excellence to the role. Key responsibilities Rebuild operational structure, daily routines, and accountability frameworks Mentor and support Site Leaders to deliver consistent, participant‑centred care Oversee rostering, compliance, and workforce planning across Thornbury and Mentone Strengthen incident management, documentation, and governance systemsBuild a culture of professionalism, accountability, and collaboration Work closely with the General Manager to align daily performance with Carestays’ broader growth strategy What we’re offering Six-month full-time contract , with the potential to extend or convert to permanent Competitive salary package aligned with seniority and experience Clear, defined objectives — with genuine autonomy to deliver them Shared phone‑basedon‑call rotation (weekly, management‑level only) Flexible working arrangements once site operations are stable The opportunity to make a visible, measurable impact within a supportive, values‑driven organisation About you You’ll bring: Proven NDIS leadership or operations management experience (essential) A structured, organised approach — able to bring systems and consistency Sound understanding of compliance, workforce planning, and quality frameworks The confidence to lead people with calm authority and fairness A commitment to genuine participant outcomes and high professional standards If you’re someone who values clarity, structure, and accountability — and takes pride in leaving things better than you found them — this role will suit you perfectly.
