Construction Lawyer (2-4 PAE) Join Holding Redlich as a construction lawyer with 2‑4 years post‑qualification and experience in construction, infrastructure or complex litigation. About the Role We are seeking a talented construction lawyer to join Queensland’s preeminent Construction, Infrastructure and Projects teams at Holding Redlich. The role involves working with a wide range of sectors—including transport, social infrastructure, residential, renewables, commercial and industrial projects—providing legal advice to government, developers, multi‑national engineering companies and major contractors. Responsibilities Assist clients with large‑scale construction projects, including project delivery and back‑end construction matters. Manage disputes during and after project delivery, covering adjudications, expert determinations and complex litigation and arbitration. Prepare legal advices, draft evidence and legal submissions, and conduct day‑to‑day litigation work. Instruct counsel and technical experts and supervise paralegals and junior lawyers as appropriate. Maintain high client service standards while balancing multiple priorities in a fluid work environment. Qualifications 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience, with a background in project delivery, construction or infrastructure. Strong knowledge of civil procedure; experience from the mining, resources or energy sectors is desirable. Excellent analytical and technical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines, while managing client expectations. High interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt communication style to varied audiences. Team‑player attitude, with a willingness to support others and mentor junior staff. Discretion and sensitivity in handling confidential information.
