The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Advanced clinical practice relevant to perioperative settings. Proven experience in managing human and material resources effectively. Excellent communication skills with a track record of building and maintaining relationships. A demonstrated ability in continuous quality improvement principles and clinical governance strategies. Eligibility for or possession of a current C Class driver's licence. Up-to-date knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements affecting the healthcare sector. (Desirable) A post-graduate qualification in a related field. (Desirable) Experience or an understanding of rural and remote area health services. Key Responsibilities Lead the clinical team, ensuring compliance with ACORN standards and AS/NZ 4187. Provide advanced clinical patient care and staff support, promoting best practices in the department. Organise and adjust staff rosters to ensure safe practice guidelines are adhered to. Manage performance and development of staff, as well as oversee recruitment processes. Implement and monitor nursing practice standards in collaboration with the Director of Nursing. Coordinate clinical governance activities to align with the National Safety and Quality Health Standards. This position is located in Esperance, 700km from Perth and 400km from Kalgoorlie. Area Profile The Goldfields region of the WA Country Health Service covers the Goldfields-Esperance Region of Western Australia.
