Liebherr Australia is looking for a results‑oriented leader to join our team as an Inventory Manager. The role ensures stock levels are optimised and customer orders are fulfilled on time. The successful candidate will implement best practices, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across departments to achieve operational excellence. About the Role Reporting to the National Manager, Inventory Optimisation, you will provide robust leadership for the Inventory Systems team. Responsibilities include maintaining our ERP system, controlling the accuracy of MRP stock proposals, and maximising return on investment while supporting customers. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain inventory management systems and procedures. Monitor inventory levels, track key metrics, and analyse data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inventory specialists. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and distribution teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and reduce costs. Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance to senior management. Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Maintain a safe work environment and champion continuous improvement. Operate autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety. Qualifications & Skills Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics. Demonstrated experience in inventory management within a similar industry. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Excellent knowledge and application of inventory management principles. Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Baan, SAP, ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with the BAAN IV ERP system is an advantage.
