Commissioning Mechanical Fitter (Assembly) Industry leading rates of pay - $38 to $48 per hour permanent Relocation assistance - if you are interstate or over 500kms from Toowoomba, relocation allowance of $2,000 plus support/assistance with your rental or purchase applications | short term accommodation options Overtime - although we can never guarantee overtime the business has seen an average of 45-50 hours per week of workload throughout the last 12 months The Culture - Obadare is founded on six key principles of family, trust & teamwork, quality, innovation & change, customer focus & commitment and most importantly discipline Obadare is Australia's only American Petroleum Institute (API) 4F licensed CSG rig builder, and now our own OEM product range is expanding we are seeking professional and competent people to join our assembly and commissioning crew. What does the role involve: Assembling mechanical and structural parts of the build like, handrails, guarding, walkways, pivots or mounting points, installing free issued equipment etc. Assembling trailer and truck running gear Hydraulic and auto-electrical scopes and assisting subcontractors Following detailed installation procedures, ITPs and checklists as well as filling critical information out You will be working with one of our most experienced tradesman and although industry experience would be desirable, we have staff committed to internal training within the role. Outside of your team, you will also have interaction with all the teams at Obadare including, production, machining, blast and paint andNDE/hydrostatic testing crews. We are looking for hard-working, reliable and long term people who will enjoy our culture. We work in an interesting and fast paced industry however, we are also family oriented and our team are home nearly every night - with overtime and field work only put in place by mutual agreement. People often come to us if they want to stay in the industry but be home every night (ex-FIFO) or people that want to learn a new industry and expand their skill set.
