Production Team Leader

We are looking for a Production Team Leader for the PM shift (13:30 – 21:51 pm) who is passionate about food manufacturing and motivated to inspire and guide a high‑performing team. This hands‑on leadership role is all about driving excellence in production, ensuring food safety and quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives . You’ll be at the centre of operations—leading and developing your team, collaborating with cross‑functional partners (Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Scheduling, and Quality), and helping to shape a culture of efficiency, safety, and innovation. What you will do: Lead, coach, and develop your production team to deliver consistent, safe, and high‑quality food products. Oversee day‑to‑day production operations, including task allocation, training, and workflow management. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and uphold workplace safety, hygiene, and quality standards. Monitor KPIs and process flows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Partner with Quality, Innovation, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues, enhance performance, and ensure reliable operations. Drive continuous improvement and set the standard for living our company values. Maintain accurate production records and ensure all documentation is completed to standard. What we are looking for: 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing (leadership experience highly regarded). Strong knowledge of industry standards, food safety, and OH&S regulations. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and communicate clearly with diverse teams. Excellent time management, organisational, and problem‑solving skills. A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards. Professional presentation and a focus on personal hygiene.
