Your Mission As Engineering Manager for our GIS & Survey team, you will empower engineers to build scalable, high‑quality, customer‑focused products that advance our platform globally. You will lead efforts adding advanced GIS features and bridging survey and GIS capabilities, creating a seamless integrated experience for users. You’ll guide a full‑stack engineering team, champion code quality, best practices, and continuous improvement, and support career growth through feedback, coaching, and challenging opportunities. While focusing on leadership, you will stay close to the code to lead with empathy and insight. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure alignment, contribute to roadmap planning, and deliver impactful products. Support team members’ growth through regular feedback, coaching, and tailored development opportunities. Advocate for and implement strong engineering practices to continually raise technical standards. Identify and remove blockers—technical, process‑related, or interpersonal—to keep the team moving forward smoothly. Partner with the Talent team to help hire great engineers and actively support new hires during onboarding. Your Skills Prior leadership experience or a passion for mentorship and leadership. Strong full‑stack skills with a frontend focus; stay hands‑on to lead with empathy and understand team challenges. Open to feedback and create a safe environment where people do their best work. Constantly look for ways to improve processes, systems, and teamwork. Deep care for people—mentoring, coaching, and helping others grow is a key part of your leadership.
