Metal Fabrication Labourer – Cowra NSW Job Type: Permanent • Casual | Duration: 9‑month assignment – Start Early January 2026 | Location: Cowra Region, NSW About the Role We are seeking skilled and reliable Metal Fabrication Labourers to join a well‑established engineering and fabrication company located in the Cowra region. This 9‑month assignment offers consistent hours, hands‑on work, and the opportunity to be part of a strong, fast‑paced production team manufacturing a range of metal components. Key Duties Assist tradesmen and fabricators with daily metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, grinding, drilling, and preparing metal materials. Operate workshop machinery and hand tools (training provided). Assemble metal components and parts. General labouring, workshop housekeeping, and WHS compliance. Follow instructions from supervisors and work within production schedules. About You Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, welding, or similar labouring roles (preferred but not essential). Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills. Reliability and commitment to completing the full 9‑month assignment. Ability to safely perform physical and repetitive tasks in a workshop environment. Good teamwork skills and ability to follow direction. Positive attitude, work ethic, and attention to detail. Requirements Driver’s licence and reliable transport. Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol test. Commitment to workplace health and safety. Basic tool‑handling experience is an advantage. Comfortable working in a noisy, fast‑paced fabrication workshop. Benefits Weekly pay + superannuation. Stable, ongoing full‑time hours (38+ per week). Work with a respected local engineering company.
