Base pay range A$800.00/daily - A$850.00/daily Key Responsibilities Design, build, and optimise data pipelines and processing solutions using AWS and Databricks . Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. Ensure platform scalability, security, and performance optimisation . Support and mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and technical guidance.
Implement data governance and operational best practices to ensure reliability and compliance. Troubleshoot issues and provide technical expertise for incidents and problem resolution. Drive continuous improvement across tools, processes, and data engineering practices. What Success Looks Like Reliable, high-performing data pipelines and platforms with minimal downtime .

Skills
& Experience Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer in an enterprise environment. Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services and Databricks . Solid understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes , and modern data architectures.
Experience
with Python, SQL, and big data technologies . Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices .
Experience
with other cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP. Exposure to consultancy or professional services environments. Competitive salary or daily rate contract options available. Work with cutting-edge cloud and data technologies on large-scale projects.
