Junior/Intermediate R&D Full Stack Engineer

Junior/Intermediate R&D Full Stack Engineer Join DXC Technology as a Junior/Intermediate R&D Full Stack Engineer and help build innovative prototypes across the entire technology stack. You’ll collaborate with UI/UX designers, architects, and business owners worldwide to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross‑functional, cross‑geographic teams to define, design, develop and communicate prototypes. Develop prototypes with both frontend and backend components. Follow team coding standards, architectural patterns and security practices. Create and maintain documentation for all projects. Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the application stack for prototypes. Experiment with new technologies, frameworks and methodologies to create innovative solutions. Build rapid prototypes to test and validate new ideas and concepts. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Maintain a continual learning mindset and engage with emerging technologies. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Mandatory Skills Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills and ability to work across teams. Innovation mindset: ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; comfortable working outside the comfort zone. Experience with both Linux and Windows systems. Frontend skills – any combination of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular. Backend skills – at least one of Python, NodeJS or similar. Exposure to RESTful API design and implementation. Relational database design and querying. Version control systems (e.g., Git). Implementation of server‑side logic using APIs. Database design and data management. Preferred Skills Experience with at least one cloud vendor (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration concepts. AI technologies and agentic workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Langchain, ChatGPT, Prompt Engineering). At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
