We operate over 13,000km of high voltage transmission wires and 128 substations in NSW, VIC and the ACT. The Opportunity | Commencing October - December 2025 | Multiple Locations Available - Yass, Wagga Wagga, Tamworth, Newcastle, Orange & Sydney Metro As a Transmission Lines Technician, you will play a vital role and be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repairs and construction of transmission line assets across our transmission network. You'll provide technical expertise to ensure our critical infrastructure meets customer expectations and reliability standards. Whether responding to emergency incidents, managing scheduled maintenance, or delivering major construction projects, you’ll be part of a team that puts safety, teamwork, and technical excellence at the forefront of everything we do. What You’ll Do Perform installation, maintenance and repair of transmission line assets. Carry out inspections and identify condition concerns. Prepare safe work methods and associated safety documentation. Mentor apprentices and junior technicians. Act as crew leader where appropriate. Coordinate with Field Coordinators and Site Managers. Total Package from $115,085 | Includes Base Salary + Field Allowance + General Purpose Allowance + 16% Superannuation What We’re Looking For Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems – Transmission and/or Distribution Overhead Flexibility to support on call/afterhours requests and respond to system incidents A current Australian Driver’s License Understanding of the inspection, maintenance and construction requirements associated with transmission line infrastructure High Risk Work Licenses (e.g. WP, RA, CV). Experience in high-voltage maintenance (pole replacement, insulator changeouts, hot joint repair, etc.) What’s in it for you?
