Paid Position - Paralegal - Parramatta - Walker Law Group Location: Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia Job Description At Walker Law Group, we are seeking a paid paralegal to join our team on a full-time basis at our Parramatta office. Key points: Claimant Personal Injury Firm, salary negotiable on experience, great location close to public transport, opportunities for learning and working closely with a Partner and their team. About The Role An opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join our friendly and supportive team. You will be responsible for undertaking a range of administrative and paralegal duties to ensure the effective and efficient running of the Law firm. Experience in a professional environment is desired, however, is not necessary and will be provided to the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Assisting lawyers with preparation of documents, letters and briefs. Answer incoming phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner. Handling and managing medical appointments. Handling and managing payments. Diary management. Key Selection Criteria Strong customer service skills. Strong communication skills. Strong computer and typing skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong numeracy skills. An interest in developing a career in the legal industry. Take a collaborative and positive approach to your work. Experience with LEAP will be highly regarded though not essential. Experience in Workers Compensation / Personal Injury highly regarded though not essential.
