We are seeking a Work Health and Safety Business Partner to collaborate with our committed team, drive safe outcomes, and support a positive safety culture across our organisation. ABOUT THE ROLE As a key member of the Work Health and Safety team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing and continuously improving WHS systems, policies and procedures to support a safe, compliant and proactive organisational culture. This role works closely with internal stakeholders at all levels and contributes to strong operational and cultural outcomes across St John NT. Key responsibilities include: Providing professional WHS advice, support and coaching to managers and staff to ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements. Coordinating incident, hazard and injury reporting processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up. Supporting and facilitating WHS induction, education and training programs to build capability, enhance safety awareness and encourage a values-based safety culture. Assisting in the development and maintenance of WHS documentation, including standards, safe operating procedures, audit schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to improved safety outcomes and reduction of incidents and injuries. ABOUT YOU You are a proactive professional who brings strong judgement, communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety. You thrive in a dynamic environment, build constructive working relationships and demonstrate high levels of personal accountability and attention to detail. To be successful in this role, you will bring: A high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Strong communication skills, balancing clear written and verbal communication with active listening and influencing skills to keep stakeholders informed and engaged. A collaborative and approachable style, fostering a positive team culture Exceptional attention to detail, producing accurate work, maintaining effective systemsand demonstrating pride in the quality of output. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU 6 week's annual leave. Salary packaging of $15,899 plus entertainment benefits of $2650 available.
