Junior Plaster apprentices wanted - North & South Brisbane Founded on a commitment to employ quality apprentices and provide exceptional support, OSMAC has grown to be one of Queensland’s largest apprentice employers achieving Industry leading completion rates As a plastering apprentice, your duties will include learning to prepare surfaces, install plasterboard, and apply smooth finishes while building hands‑on skills under qualified tradespeople and following site safety. Key Responsibilities Preparing, cutting, and installing gyprock sheeting Complete minor carpentry and handyperson tasks Carry out minor painting and touch‑up tasks Reading and interpreting site plans and adhering to site safety Maintaining cleanliness on site and maintenance of tools What we’re looking for Enthusiastic and reliable team players Strong work ethic with attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively Positive attitude and good communication skills Requirements Current Australian Driver’s Licence and own or have access to a vehicle White Card (Construction Induction Card) Commitment to maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and environmental practices Punctual and well‑presented Ability to use mobile and technology for reporting and college updates A genuine interest in the plastering trade On offer is the following Long term career prospects Current Modern Award hourly rates Uniforms, PPE and Quality footwear All College/TAFE Fee's paid for High level of Support in the form of apprentice mentors Security in being employed with an organisation with multiple placement opportunities Opportunities to get fast tracked through recognition of prior learning and flexible college options for people with experience.
