Our Medical Clinic in Port Pirie , is seeking a motivated, proactive, experienced medical receptionist to join our small, friendly team on a part-time basis to provide excellent support to our patients. The practice operates Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am-12:30am. We are looking for a part-time candidate (two days per week) to join our clinic. Job tasks and responsibilities To greet patients and other callers at the Practice in a courteous and efficient manner. To answer the telephone promptly and courteously. Check in for appointment – Collecting referral and demographic details Check out post consultation which can involve booking review appointments and procedures Liaising with the consultant specialists and other departments to facilitate patient care Communication with other Health care providers to facilitate patient care Scheduling appointments for new and existing patients. Responding to all correspondence through faxes, emails and by phone. Data entry and experience with accounts receivable To exercise confidentiality in regard to patient care and all aspects of the practice. High level of computer proficiency with attention to detail and accuracy in office, email. Maintain reception area in a tidy and welcoming manner. Attitude and attributes Emotionally intelligent and responsive. Excellent conflict resolutions skills.
