Access 24/7 management support via our National After-Hours Service Generous Employee Benefits- Access to salary packaging, Fitness Passport + More Hourly Rate from $37.73 per hour + super (Dependent on qualifications & experience) Join us to discover a purpose you can wrap your heart around Role Overview Role: Therapeutic Youth Worker Employment Type: Casual & Permanent Part Time Location: Grafton As a Therapeutic Youth Worker you’ll be a key support for children & young people aged 12 to 17 years who’ve experienced childhood trauma, abuse, or neglect. Some of the children and young people we care for may also have a disability or complex medical needs requiring specialised support, including personal care. Our residential homes operate 24/7, therefore it is essential that successful applicants are able and willing to work a roster which regularly includes afternoon, sleepover and weekend shifts. Learn more about Life Without Barriers and our services for Children, Young People & Families here: Role Requirements A Diploma in Community Services or related field, OR enrolment into a Diploma or Degree (Note: a qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience) Current Provide First Aid and CPR certificates. Australian Drivers Licence Willingness to assist with activities of daily living, including personal care (if required). Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check and NSW Residential Care Workers Register check.
