Weekend work and public holidays may be included. Assist customers with all enquiries. Welcome guests and process their arrival information. Provide information with regard to chartering and suitable charter booking options. Create reservations, process payments and undertake all necessary administrative duties, including modification and cancellation of bookings and preparing and sending of communication. Support team in all aspects of administration and reservations as needed. Main Duties and Responsibilities Provide a professional and friendly welcome to all visitors Processing and receipting of monies Assist with guest luggage and loading as required Liaise with guests to provide direction and advice Preparation of daily charter operations including check-in and check-out files Answering telephones & emails and relay messages to staff in a professional and timely manner Promote, sell & upsell of charters, accessories, provisioning, and sail guide options etc Provide assistance and information to Charter Guests Effectively communicate with all internal and external departments Ensure that all reservations are recorded following procedures with full and clear information and that they are entered accurately and promptly into the system Receive Mail and deliveries and make sure that the recipients are notified. Assist Operations team and Briefers as requested Available and willing to work on a roster basis including weekends as required Willingness to learn new skills and technology required to ensure maximum efficiency for the position Cleaning and vacuuming of the Office and cleaning of Glass front door and always keeping the Office and Balcony area clean, neat, tidy, free of clutter and well-presented. Qualifications It would be anticipated that the employee will have a proven background in sales and customer service combined with highly developed administrative and computer skills Sailing experience and qualifications and knowledge of Sailing terminology is an asset. Proficient in Word, Excell, Outlook, Google – Email, G-Suite/Drive/Sheets, Zoho CRM, NauSYS. Training will be provided.
