The Role We’re currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Mechanics to join our team at our Naval Base workshop . In this role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of Caterpillar and Komatsu mobile equipment. What We Offer ✅ Family-First Culture – We understand the importance of work‑life balance ✅ 5:2 Roster – Be home every night ✅ Clean, Organised Workshop – A safe and efficient work environment ✅ Fortnightly Pay – With superannuation paid on all hours worked ✅ Social Club & BBQs – Regular team events and a great workplace vibe ✅ Autonomous Role – Take ownership of your work and thrive independently Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment Conduct on‑hire and off‑hire inspections of mobile plant and equipment Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics Create parts lists using technical manuals Perform risk assessments and implement safety controls Maintain compliance with HSE policies and procedures Keep work areas clean and well‑organised What We’re Looking For Australian Trade Qualification – HD/Plant Mechanic Proven experience with Caterpillar mobile plant maintenance Proficiency with CAT ET and SIS systems Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work unsupervised High Risk Work Licences (LF, WP, CN, DG) – highly regarded Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Join Our Team If you’re a motivated and experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic who values safety, quality, and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you.
