Electrical Assembler

The Company JKs client are a leading manufacturer and service provider for fire and emergency services vehicles, based in Ballarat. With a team of 60+ onsite, they deliver high-quality, custom-built vehicles for emergency services across Australia. Known for innovation, reliability, and a strong safety culture, they’re expanding to meet growing project demand. The Role Due to a surge in projects, we’re seeking Auto Electricians and individuals with electrical skills from manufacturing, automotive, or heavy vehicle backgrounds. You’ll work across all stages of the build process, assembling and fitting electrical components to vehicle chassis, collaborating with a diverse team of trades and technicians. Reporting to the Floor Managers, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, custom emergency vehicles. Duties Assemble and fit electrical components to vehicle chassis Complete electrical fit-out, wiring, harness work, and component assembly Read and interpret technical drawings and build specs Use hand and power tools to install parts and hardware Inspect, test, and adjust assemblies for quality and function Skills & Experience Relevant electrical experience in automotive, heavy vehicle, or fit-out environments Strong problem-solving and practical skills Ability to read and interpret plans; strong numeracy skills Experience with caravans, trucks, or vans preferred Trade-qualified Auto Electricians highly regarded Benefits 4-day work week for better work/life balance Overtime opportunities Consistent work with the opportunity to gain a permanent role Work on unique, custom builds Please Note: All applicants will be required to participate in a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test to be successful in this role.
