Job description Trade and Services About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of fixed plant and mechanical equipment within a manufacturing / recycling facility. You will work as part of a skilled maintenance team to ensure plant reliability, safety, and uptime. Key Responsibilities Preventative and breakdown maintenance on mechanical plant Fault finding and mechanical repairs Maintenance of conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics Safe isolation of equipment using Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedures Working in accordance with WHS policies and site procedures Accurate maintenance reporting and communication with operations teams Essential Requirements To be considered, you must have: Recognised Australian Mechanical Trade Certificate (Cert III – Mechanical or equivalent) Completed mechanical apprenticeship Current White Card (Construction Induction) Proven experience in manufacturing, industrial, or fixed-plant environments Strong mechanical fault-finding and preventative maintenance skills Current Australian driver’s licence Own reliable transport Ability to pass:Police check Pre-employment medical Drug & alcohol testing (including random testing) Highly Desirable (Not Mandatory) Experience in recycling, waste, or heavy industrial facilities High Risk Work Licences (Forklift, EWP, Dogging/Rigging) Experience in continuous or 24/7 operations Work Rights Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens , permanent residents , or hold valid Australian work rights . #J-18808-Ljbffr
