Descripción del puesto El Surfacing Artist es responsable de establecer el aspecto y las cualidades superficiales de personajes animados, props y entornos. Utilizando y desarrollando texturas y shaders, guiará el proceso de producción para lograr el estilo visual deseado. Colabora con el equipo de CG para asegurar que el flujo de trabajo y las especificaciones se desarrollen correctamente para alcanzar el look esperado en todas las texturas. Responsabilidades Adaptar referencias del departamento de arte 2D a superficies CG finales que respeten el estilo de la producción. Trabajar en equipo siguiendo las indicaciones de supervisores creativos y técnicos, demostrando capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente y bajo supervisión directa. Colaborar estrechamente con los equipos de iluminación y pipeline, manteniendo productividad constante, cumpliendo plazos y entregando trabajo de alta calidad. Perfil del candidato Candidatos senior con experiencia en producción de animación CG para películas o series animadas (más de 6 años), no en live action . Portafolios con estilización gráfica madura de la realidad, similar a Spiderverse, Entergalactic, Arcane o The Witness (Love, Death, Robots). Portafolio o demo reel enfocado en surfacing 3D para entornos, personajes y props en animación CG. Experiencia en Katana y Arnold preferida, con dominio de surfacing procedural. Capacidad demostrada en desarrollo de shaders, texturas y UVs para entornos en animación televisiva, películas o TVC. Conocimiento avanzado de Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop y Arnold; Katana y Quixel son ventajas. Buen manejo de herramientas de mapeo UV; conocimientos en grooming y sistemas de cabello son un plus. Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, gestión del tiempo, multitarea y priorización. Demo reel o portafolio con estilo pictórico y/o estilizado. Habilidades tradicionales en pintura y acuarela.
