About the position The Head of Department at MLC School is responsible for leading and coordinating innovative teaching programs aligned with the school’s strategic goals. This role involves tracking student progress, mentoring staff, and fostering a strong, ethical, and effective teaching team. The Head of Department supports professional learning plans, builds team capacity, and promotes a culture that integrates academic progress, wellbeing, and spiritual development. They play a key role in leading learning and partnering with parents to ensure every girl reaches her full potential. As a Head of Department (HSIE), you will hold accountability for ensuring that teaching programs delivered by the Department comply with: NSW Education Standards Authority requirements, International Baccalaureate requirements and the School's reporting requirements.
