Early Childhood Coordinator – full‑time, to work 35 hours in a preschool environment with vacation programs for children 3‑5 years old. Working with Children Check (NSW) clearance number Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma certificate and Anaphylaxis certificate National Police Check Certificate – this is an employment requirement for all Southern Youth and Family Services employees. Outstanding skills in communication with families and the community Demonstrated skills in team building leadership and role modelling effective early childhood practice Evidence of commitment to an inclusive curriculum Knowledge of, commitment to and experience in meeting the National Quality Framework. Knowledge of, commitment to and experience in working with the Early Years Learning Framework. Driver’s license, registered and comprehensive insured vehicle Desirable Experience in a similar role A commitment to inclusive practice and recognition of the value of diversity Initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision Effective time management skills flexibility and ability to multi‑task Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to continue learning and support current theory and practice in Early Childhood Willingness to work within the Southern Suburbs Mobile Preschool Preschools and SYFS Philosophy Conditions Dependent on position, experience and qualifications, a range for contract full‑time staff between $43.36 to $47.64/hour dependent on experience plus on costs, generous salary packaging with income taxation savings through FBT exempt arrangements for permanent staff.
