Senior Project Manager - Building Projects Government Body: QLD Government Pay: $78.02 per hour + super Location: Brisbane CBD Duration: ASAP Start - 20 February 2026 Join a large QLD Government Department, delivering crucial construction projects across SEQ. Join a dynamic team delivering building projects that make a real impact. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from pre-design through to post-occupancy evaluation, ensuring quality outcomes for stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage building projects across all phases: pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-occupancy evaluation. Oversee procurement activities, ensuring projects meet agreed time, cost and quality parameters. Liaise with client representatives and external consultants to ensure project requirements are met. Provide advice on procurement methodologies and project programming. Maintain project data in Ellipse, including billing, scheduling, reporting, and contract payment authorisation. Contribute to continuous improvement of quality assurance policies and procedures. Apply workplace health and safety principles throughout project delivery. What We're Looking For Degree in Project Management or Construction Management. Strong experience in project contract management. Knowledge of MS Project highly desirable. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight timeframes.
