Nurse Manager - Access and Patient Flow (Hospitals North) ) Join to apply for the Nurse Manager - Access and Patient Flow (Hospitals North) ) role at Department of Health, Tasmania . The role works as part of the team in the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) at the LGH. The IOC is the coordination hub that ensures the right person receives the right care in the most appropriate setting and works collaboratively to ensure a smooth patient journey across the continuum. The Role This primary purpose of this role is the delivery of Access and Patient Flow program priorities, projects and workplan activities throughout THS North in line with the IOC operational plan. It is a job share position working 3 days per month with working days and hours negotiable. Experience in Project Management and/or Change management is desirable. Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. Details of appointment Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 12 hours per fortnight, commencing from the 16 February 2026. Hours are to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary $122,365 to $129,060 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Allowances and Salary Packaging Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type. Salary package includes living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year and other benefits if eligible. Benefits Travel and relocation assistance support up to $15,000 for overseas and up to $10,000 for interstate appointees. Professional development and accelerated pathways. Eligibility Successful applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse. Desirable criteria: Relevant postgraduate qualifications in project management or clinical redesign. A minimum of 5 years of acute clinical experience.
