Location: Queanbeyan, New South Wales Position: Full-time Salary: $126,358.44 - $139,630.92 gross per annum + 12% super + 3.5% CLA (Evaluated as Grade 18 of the QPRC Salary System 2025) Working Hours: 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may be considered. Description Queanbeyan City Council is seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead the Project Delivery team which provides engineering support for the planning and delivery of the council’s civil infrastructure projects. In This Role You Will Lead and supervise a team of Project Engineers to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within allocated budgets. Proactively manage projects assigned to the team from concept to completion. Provide professional engineering advice and expertise in the delivery of council’s projects including but not limited to contract management, project management, civil design and construction. Contribute to reporting on project performance. We Are Looking For Someone Who Possesses a recognised bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years’ experience. Can lead, motivate and coordinate staff to deliver outcomes while optimising resources. Communicates clearly and professionally, delivering high levels of customer service and accurate technical advice. Has demonstrated working experience in applying project management methodologies and practices to civil engineering works. Is experienced in procurement processes and contract administration.
