Guest Service Agent Location: Bankstown, New South Wales, Australia. Job Description Are you passionate about hospitality and delivering unforgettable guest experiences? Mercure Sydney Bankstown is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic full‑time Guest Service Agent to be the face of our hotel and create lasting impressions for our guests. Responsibilities Deliver service excellence from check‑in to check‑out and everywhere in between. Complete a wide variety of front‑office tasks, from selling the hotel’s facilities to taking reservations and maintaining guest accounts. Provide passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to external and internal guests at all times. Answer all telephone calls in a professional manner according to brand standard. Reconcile cashier floats at the completion of each shift. Brief guests who are not Accor Live Limitless (ALL) members about features and benefits and sign them up to the loyalty program. Qualifications Previous customer service experience in a hotel environment. Strong knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office and preferably Opera Cloud. The ability to work under pressure, multitask and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues. Strong communication skills and pride in personal presentation. A genuine customer‑service focus and a strong dedication to making every guest smile during their stay. Available to work 38 hours per week on a rotating roster including mornings, afternoons and overnight shifts. Valid Australian working rights.
